Gussy Up Anything Magnetic Frame
This is my favorite kind of DIY project: A craft that can be repurposed several different ways. Use it for a changeable to-do list on the fridge, as a fun way to hang a picture or, like my daughter, place it over a mirror in a school locker. Here's what you'll need:
lightweight pre-cut wooden frame (I bought mine at Michaels for $1 on sale) approx 8''x5"
spray paint
five small magnets
ribbon or string for hanging (optional)
decorative items like felt flowers, stickers, buttons, etc. (I found stickers at T.J.Maxx for $1.49, buttons from Michaels, $.60)
Next, get your paint on!
Not too fast, slow and steady wins the race here. We don't want the paint to puddle. Allow to dry several hours.
Add magnets to the back.
I used hot glue. Some magnets come with adhesive on the back, mine didn't. I would use hot glue anyway, just in case.
Finally, add your decor and more.
